Adventis has been a proud partner with the Michigan Interactive Investments (MII) since 2018. Since our partnership began, we have had over 70 Michigan students earn our FMC Level I Certification to develop strong financial modeling expertise, excel knowledge, and technical interview skills to land their dream jobs in the finance industry. We have hosted 13 boot camps on the campus and plan to host 2-3 annually going forward.

Boot Camps

Adventis hosts 2-3 in-person boot camps at the University of Michigan during the fall and spring semesters. All Adventis-enrolled students at the University of Michigan gain free access to our in-person boot camps. Boot camps cover the exact same material taught in the online FMC Program, and are for students who prefer to supplement the learning with an in-person version. Boot camps are 8 hours on a Saturday OR Sunday.

Founded in 1998, Michigan Interactive Investments (MII) is a highly selective, leading undergraduate investment club at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Each year, MII manages an investment portfolio with the goal of educating members about investing through interactive portfolio management. By maintaining a small, dedicated member base of approximately 60 undergraduate students, MII is able to effectively teach members about investing in a variety of equity, fixed income, and derivative securities. MII also provides many resources to help members secure internship and full-time job placements, and hosts the ENGAGE Undergraduate Investment Conference each Spring.

Professional Development

MII helps prepare its members to take advantage of unparalleled recruiting opportunities through workshops, alumni mentorship, and private recruiting events. MII members have gone on to join the top firms in the world in banking, hedge funds, and private equity.

Investment Management

MII utilizes a multi-faceted investment strategy to invest a $25,000 portfolio in equities, options, and fixed income instruments. MII offers members a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience managing a significant portfolio.

MII students host the ENGAGE® Undergraduate Investment Conference, the nation's largest undergraduate investing conference, every year at UM's Ross School of Business, connecting students from around the world with legendary investors.
